This Week From Sylvia!
It was a very Merry Christmas, indeed!
I <3 being festive!
But you know what I don’t <3? How people kept accusing me of wearing OU socks! I am 100% an OSU Cowboys fan, peeps! Just because I love the color red does not mean I am not loyal to The Pokes. Seriously.
This really made me laugh. I like to call it “Fun Guy Mountain.” Hahahaha!
The Santa Clause! I am in love with this movie.
But explain to me why ABC Family kept advertising a Santa Clause Event! that totally left out The Santa Clause 2?
Cheese!
Best dollar I ever spent! Flarp!
Such a pretty kitty, and a pretty tree too! Don’t you love her orange toe? She’s an OSU fan like me!
This tag makes me feel really, really, really smart and accomplished. Ha!
I love 3 things: knowing the time, trying to find out the time, and big watches. I guess I’ve got that covered! Oh, and Fossil, so make that 4. :-)
Happy New Year everyone!
I’ll be at the Fiesta Bowl! Go Pokes!

Merry Pokes-mas!
In light of recent events such as this girl going to the FIESTA BOWL!!!
I thought it fitting that I show how I represent my beloved Pokes at Christmas time.
Plus, I just really, really, really times a million like to take pictures of my Christmas tree!
I <3 fat little snowmen! (Is it ok to say fat and little in the same sentence about the same object?) Don’t you just want to squeeze his chubby cheeks?
Pistol Pete is in the house! Pistols Firing!
He’s even cute in play-do.
Every team needs a BA running back.
At the top. Appropriate after this amazing season we’ve had, don’t you think?
Another fat little snowman. **squeeze, squeeze**
Ah…there she is. In all her glory. Love it.
I wish it wasn’t weird to leave Christmas trees up year round.
I can’t wait to see what neat-o OSU ornaments I add next year, but until then…
Go Pokes!!! Beat the Cardinal!!!

This Week From Sylvia…
Poor, poor Sylvia (my iPhone). I’m such a blogging slacker? blogacker? blog putter offer? post procrastinator? well, whatever it is that means you sporadically blog, that’s me, that poor little Sylvia hasn’t gotten to share her fabulous photos in a couple of weeks.
I’m sorry Sylvia, I’ll try to be better in the future.
And, without further ado! This week from Sylvia we have…
Graduation party staples. AKA beer.
Last. Final. Ever. Goodbye school!
Let’s get ready to party like it’s 1999! Or like December 17, 2011! Haha!
I totally made this out of trash! I don’t have a picture of the whole thing, but it says “Congrats Grad!”
Aaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!! I FINALLY graduated!!! Aaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!
Pretty, pretty necklace from my parents. Thanks mom and dad!
Yes, yes, I’m sharing my Christmas tree again, but in my defense I didn’t take this one. It was taken by a friend and text to me so it doesn’t count, right? Right?!
Presents!
Who’s going to the Fiesta Bowl??? This girl!!! Go Pokes!!!
I hope everyone has a fantastic holiday!
If I remember to do it I’m totally going to share all of my OSU ornaments on here. In fact I think I’ll just continue to post pictures of my Christmas tree all the way through to next year.

Photo Challenge Finale!
It’s the final week of the 20 week photography challenge at A Step in the Journey. It’s been super fun!
We’re ending with a self-portrait which is also how we began the challenge, and if you know me at all you know I LOVE TAKING PICTURES OF MYSELF! Excuse me for screaming, but I seriously love it! I’m kinda weird like that…anyway, in the spirit of Christmas my self-portrait is very festive.
But, wait! There’s more! I’m sharing not one, but three self-portraits! I told you I can’t get enough of myself…haha!
I feel like I have serious focus issues in this one, but since I was using my friends camera and not mine, I’m totally going to blame his camera and not my skills.
I’m 18 or 19 in this photo that’s glued to the inside of this ornament that I then took a picture of so I could call it a self-portrait. Oh, to be that thin again.
And, last, but never least an ornament reflection with my own camera. I seriously need to invest in some silver ornaments. Red is just not very mirror like. I do think the focus is somewhat better in this one, though.
Well, that’s it! The last 20 weeks have been super fun, and I love my camera even more now than I did the day it’s amazing-ness arrived in the mail. Thanks again, LB, for hosting this fabulous challenge!

Today…
I graduated!!!
It’s been a long time coming and it is finally, finally, finally here!
At this moment, there’s no better feeling than that of being an Oklahoma State University Alum.
I couldn’t have done it without all the support I’ve had from family and friends over the years. Thank you all!

Photo Challenge Week 19 : From a Distance
It’s the second to last week in the photo challenge! I’m sad to see it go because it’s been so fun.
This weeks theme is from a distance. I’m actually going to use a phone pic because everything around here looks brown and yucky. I probably have a picture from the Summer I could have posted, but I have a pretty cool one of my Christmas tree that fits the bill.
So, this is something like the one millionth picture I’ve taken of my Christmas tree, and I’ve posted about half of those. I tell you, I cannot get enough of it’s gorgeousness! In other words, fully expect to see even more Christmas tree pics in later posts.
I took this with my phone while sitting on the couch in front of the TV. I seem to spend a lot of time there. Ha! I might have leaned forward a bit, but I doubt it because I am way too lazy for that.
I think this is my favorite phone pic to date. I’m in love.
Up next week on our final challenge: Another Self Portrait! You can see my first one here.

This Week From Sylvia!
Wait! What? Who the heck is Sylvia?
She’s my iPhone. Duh.
Now that you’ve been formally introduced, let’s see what Sylvia has been up to this week.
The Pokes have done it! Bedlam winners! Big 12 Champions! *aaaaaaahhhhh* *waving hands wildly in the air* *aaaaaaaahhhhhhh*
I was only mildly frozen by the end. I could still somewhat feel my left kneecap, but everything else was gone. Frozen solid.
Goodbye goal posts.
I can’t say I really get the whole point of tearing down goal posts, but I’m sure that flash mob had a fabulous time doing it.
This disturbs me greatly.
I mean, how long is an egg supposed to be good for? If I boiled them myself, for example, would they have a month long life span before stanking up my refrigerator?
F-bomb!
And my bee-yoo-tee-full Christmas tree in the background. I just can’t get enough of that beauty!
P.S. This picture is a Hipstamatic print. I dig it. I dig Instagram more, but I can have two loves in life…or a million…right?
Speaking of loves of my life. This is it. Right here. McAlister’s UN-sweet iced tea. Oh. My. Word.
Last college class. EVER! Graduation is a week from tomorrow and I. Can’t. Wait!
It’s like Christmas morning only not exactly.
Who knew paint could be lactose intolerant?
Poor, poor lonely little nacho. I’m sorry I left you behind, but I was just so stuffed. Kinda like you were with all that tasty beef and melty cheese. Yum.
Happy Friday from Sylvia!
